The Mathias Prize, organized by the MATIÈRES LIBRES Association, aims to support young creators, whether they are students from applied arts and crafts schools, or self-taught individuals. The jury is composed of personalities from applied arts, design and interior decoration, as well as journalists and business leaders.
They deliberate to select the three most accomplished and original projects that demonstrate the bold use of materials. Additionally, the jury selects special “Jury’s Favorites,” and the “Alchemy of Joy” prize from Maison Baccarat is also awarded.
